This 3D scan reconstructs a monument recovered from Helios and dating to the late Hellite period, prior to the city’s unification with Linium. The statue depicts Xanthea of Helios as a young woman, corresponding to the period in which she is believed to have commanded the Helios Solarian Guard of the Jedda.

The original monument stood approximately 4 meters high and was prominently positioned within the city, suggesting an official commission rather than a private dedication. Although no surviving inscription identifies the event commemorated, the statue's scale and placement indicate it marked a singular achievement of considerable political or cultural importance.

This reconstruction is based on surviving fragments and contemporary sculptural conventions, preserving the restrained idealization and symbolic posture characteristic of late Hellite civic monuments.

This 3D scan reconstructs a statuette, approximately 40 centimeters tall, recovered from Helios and dating to the late Hellite period, prior to the city’s unification with Linium. It depicts Xanthea of Helios alongside Dejana Ra, then Jedda of Helios, in a composition suggestive of a union ceremony.

Unlike monumental civic works of the period, the intimate scale and simplified detailing of this piece indicate it was intended for private display. Comparable examples from the same era suggest such statuettes were commonly commissioned as personal mementos, often presented to couples to mark formal unions.

The absence of inscriptions and the restrained iconography are consistent with domestic statuary of the late Hellite age, where symbolic posture and proximity conveyed meaning more often than explicit record.

Artist’s Reconstruction of Dar (Digital .STL file format, uncut/unkeyed)
Late Hellite Period (species extinct)

This 3D model reconstructs the creature known as Dar, which appears to have played a recurring role as a companion of Xanthea of Helios. Despite the creature’s prominence in her personal accounts, Dar (as the species is now named) are known only from incomplete archaeological evidence. No intact remains have been recovered, and all reconstructions rely on shell fragments, environmental context, and Xanthea of Helios’s descriptions.

Analysis of these fragments suggests a large, multi-segmented organism approximately two meters in length, adapted for life in communal burrows. The shell's structure implies a balance between mobility and protection, consistent with that of species inhabiting arid or exposed terrain.

Dar are believed to have become extinct after the era known as the Time of Oceans, when widespread ecological collapse altered much of the Martian biosphere. The absence of living examples has left their appearance open to interpretation, placing this reconstruction at the intersection of scientific inference and historical imagination.
